This can come packaged in pain or a strong desire to do things better. Whatever the outward presentation. The common component is your awareness

Sometimes all that is required is the need to debrief.. have a chat and be heard.

To clear the head and reframe how you see things.

Other times more in depth resources are required.

Whatever your need, it is possible to find a solution that works for you.

Therapy is an individually unique process; personalized to each individual.

Individuals are assessed and treated according to what they need. There is no scripted therapy processes. Each unique individual person is honoured for who they are and where they are currently at. Their need is respected and accommodated.

Support is an important aspect of empowerment.

The interaction with the therapist, models the internal process needed to get unstuck and move forward

Confidentiality is of a priority.

Respect for the individual is highly valued and demonstrated by the practitioner communicating to meet the client wherever they are at.

Sometimes an individual is not ready to change. Their pain has bought them to therapy. Time and education are required to facilitate understanding, which often leads to the desire to explore deeper dynamics.

Through this process a trust and respect for the practitioner is formed.

The therapist builds a deep understanding and respect for the dynamics of the client.

The key to this process is the non-judgmental and safe environment.

The clinic provides a comfortable waiting room and therapy setting.

Overall the attendance of appointments is a positive empowering experience where discomfort is minimized wherever possible.

Generally appointments are available Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm.

For some therapy is enhanced by consistency of appointment times; for others the flexibility to accommodate their changing life schedule.

The modalities of therapy are very flexible:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) – Exploring the Cognitions (thoughts), Emotions and Behaviours that drive your state of being.
  • Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) – Working with the Interpersonal challenges you face.
  • Psychodynamic Therapy – Working with your inner self to uncover what drives your current state of being.
  • General Psycho-Education – A valuable component in understanding your self and others thoughts and actions.
  • Neurolinguist Programing (NLP) – Utilising the unconscious and conscious minds to make lasting change.
  • Hypnosis – Working directly with the unconscious mind to overcome barriers and blockages in your life. Sometimes without any conscious awareness.

Consultation Types

Tailored to meet your needs

Face to Face consultation is highly recommended where-ever possible – Ideally for at least the first appointment.  Upon request 90 minute sessions can be arranged. Also couple, family and group sessions are available.

Skype or telephone consultations are now available and can be reduced from the 50 minute face to face sessions to 30 minutes.

Hypnosis is available upon request; this process is negotiated with the practitioner.

Payment Options:

Our new merchant facility allows immediate live transactions for eftpos and credit cards.  Medicare rebates can be transmitted via the Practice Management system.  This allows finalization of payment and Medicare rebating during session times. This system is approved by the APS & Medicare.

Medicare rebates are provided with current mental healthcare plan referred by your GP. Health funds rebates are available as a recognized for treatment with registered psychologists and are claimable directly from the fund.
